Larry, the proprietor got out of bed and took us in, he even came out and helped me park our truck and trailer. The next morning he cooked the best breakfast I’ve had in a long time. It's a little way outside of the downtown district, so you need to drive into "town," but Red Lodge is a great stopover place for lodging and restaurant services.

  We stopped here while on a 10 day motorcycle trip and this place was perfect for our group. Trish and Larry were fantastic hosts and the lodge had everything right... read more there with plenty of things to do. Yard games, firepit, dinner, breakfast, laundry. and even a bike wash station!
We all opted to stay at the lodge and eat instead of going back out. Although we overwhelmed Larry with orders we were all patient and the food was great! His homemade pizza are delish!
And for breakfast the next morning, once again Chef Larry took care of all of us. The portions were large, very tasty and there were no complaints.
Our group wished we could have stayed here longer.
If ever in Red Lodge, The Alpine Lodge is a must stop, you won't be disappointed.

And the Alpine Lodge made it even more welcoming.... read more We booked a cabin (the original tiny-house) our first night. Spotless, cozy, great bedding, no issues whatsoever. A pair of juvenile bears got into the motel's recycling bin overnight, causing a ruckus, but we slept so soundly, we didn't hear a thing. Breakfast was excellent and we decided to stay another night, so they moved us into the motel rooms, which were even nicer. This was the perfect stopping place after a few days at Yellowstone. Montana hospitality at its finest! More

  Clean. comfotable, reasonably priced, and a complementary delicious breakfast. Good location on edge of town. Even outdoor activities on property for all ages.

Its... read more also nice that they do have bagged ice for sale at the motel so you can get on with your day without having to stop to fill up your coolers! And the Breakfast Larry cooks in the morning is amazing!! We stayed at 8 different motels from from the Black Hills to Yellowstone and this was our last stop before heading back to MN. Next year we plan on just coming out to Red Lodge and staying here for our whole vacation!
Can't wait to book our next years trip and doing a little trout fishing while we're there!

Outside, we sat on chairs and enjoyed the comings and goings of interesting folks. Slept well and then dined in a delicious breakfast.
This place is located perfectly. We walked to town and then later dined at a nearby brewery.
